ABOUT US

I (Michael Kaplan) took a glassblowing class at Kent State University, and loved it. For whatever reason, I dropped out of school after a year of glass classes, let’s just say I followed my bliss down to South America. Anyhow, I loved the atmosphere of a building full of people, all buzzing with creativity and motivation and I knew I wanted to be surrounded by more of that.

In the summer of 1998 I bought a building with a friend, one block from the famous West Side Market, and began building my dream shop.

Today, we have the pleasure of serving thousands of happy customers on the vibrant West 25th strip. We invite you to stop by to have a chat, check out the shop, and support your local artists!
